| Elixir of the Ages, what is it? The Ancient Egyptian word for it was MFKZT, translated means "what is it?" Many current theories abound related to quantum physics and beyond. The bottom line is that it is a substance that defies definition and can only be classified in the boundary between physics and metaphysics.
My personal theory is related to the Yin/Yang of Oriental Philosophy, in that everything in existence has a positive and negative side. A more appropriate analogy is "as above, so below" as represented in our logo, the Sri Yantra, a 2D representation of a multidimensional Golden Mean based primary unit of existence. This is a more detailed version of the Star of David.
Back to the theory of white gold, white powder of the precious elements and 'spin-state': for every element there exists a form that is recognizable to our 3D trained external senses and another form that exists in the higher 'spin-state' that may only be recognizable by our inner senses, perhaps because this ‘higher’ state is actually an inner 4thD hyper-dimensional state. Whatever, the effects of the higher ‘spin-state’ may be felt by our physical senses as the higher energy permeates our physical being. These effects may also transfer into our morphogenic field, resulting in enhanced physical well being, greater physical energy and endurance.
Hypothesizing that what we are witnessing on the physical plane is the tip of an iceberg existing on a ‘higher’ inner plane, how may this relate to our ‘inner’ selves? This then is the Work of which the great alchemists of history have written. Each facet of the Work is exposed as the layers are peeled away, to reveal the diamond of the Self shining in Eternity.
Elixir, manna, shewbread, whatever you choose to call it, was reserved for the pharaohs and high priests or priestesses. It has been said that they 'glowed' and that life expectancy was in the range of 300 years (barring unforeseen accidents).
According to Laurence Gardner, a well respected author and historian, in Genesis of the Grail Kings and Lost Secrets of the Sacred Ark, the primary manufacturing of Elixir for over 1500 years was The Temple of Hathor at the summit of Serabit el Khadim (better known as Mt. Horeb) in the Sinai.
